In this week’s playlist, we share the recordings of our last Micro Composition Project. Our 2022 composers were Caroline Ahn, with “Earth Song”; Jorge Muñiz, with “Niké”; Eric Salazar, with “Cornfields”; and Jared Thompson, with “Incomplete Thought”.

This week we feature composer Three-time Grammy-nominated American composer Miguel del Águila. His piece “Concierto Con Brio” will be performed with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, November 18th as the Indiana consortium premiere.

In this week’s playlist, we feature local composer Frank Felice in honor of his newly released album, THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Frank explores his own brand of “consonant adiatonicism” in THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Throughout the album, Felice sets a variety of texts to music, ranging from the antiphons of 9th century Christian mystic Hildegard of Bingen to the modernist poetry of Wallace Stevens
