In this week’s playlist, we bring you performances by saxophonist, Joe Lulloff in honor of his new album, New Stories! Acclaimed internationally for his innovative style and musical virtuosity, Yamaha and Vandoren Performing Artist Joseph Lulloff enjoys a prolific career as both a performing saxophone artist and teacher. He holds the position of Professor of Saxophone at Michigan State University where his students have won multiple prestigious national competitions.

This week on CMI Streaming, we feature our very own Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Founded in 1930, by Ferdinand Schaefer, the ISO turned fully professional in 1937. Shortly after this transition, the orchestra gained national prominence, releasing a series of phonograph recordings RCA Victor and Capitol Records in the 1940s and 50s.

Plinio has a true passion for music education and has recently being invited to join the London Music Masters charity as an ambassador and be involved with performing, teaching and guiding young musicians in schools, as well as serving as an inspiration the students through being a young artist at the beginning of his international career.
In this week’s playlist, we feature multi-award-winning Belize-born British composer and performer, Errollyn Wallen. She was awarded an MBE in 2007 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours and a CBE in 2020 in the New Year Honours, for services to music.
