Classical Music Indy strives to design easy-to-access, fully prepared educational materials for busy educators. Our content ranges from downloadable PDFs of fully written lesson plans (including links to music samples) to immersive, self-guided online learning modules for students. Our content is free and meant to be an enhancement resource teachers can turn to if they are looking for streamlined supplemental material for their classroom.
Discussion Guides provide six lessons that foster conversation and critical listening among students. Teaching Music Composition offers a fully digital experience where upper elementary students learn how to compose music over the course of six lessons. Playlist Host provides a real-world learning experience in musicology and media production for high school students, with the outcome of their work being played on our nationally distributed streaming service.
