In this week’s playlist, we feature performances and compositions by North Macedonian pianist and composer Natasha Stojanovska. You’ll hear Natasha talk with host Salvador all about her album “Uncommon Voices”, her background, and even her connections to Indiana.

This week we feature composer Three-time Grammy-nominated American composer Miguel del Águila. His piece “Concierto Con Brio” will be performed with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, November 18th as the Indiana consortium premiere.

In this week’s playlist, we feature the music of Han Lash. They are associate professor of music in composition at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Their piece, “Forestallings,” a musical response to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major, was premiered by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

In this week’s playlist, we’ll listen to music that will be performed at this year’s ChamberFest Brown County. We’ll hear from their Artistic Director, Andreas Ioannides, and Indianapolis Symphony’s Kevin Lin and Austin Huntington. We’ll hear host, Salvador, talk with these three artists about all to expect at this year’s ChamberFest, their backgrounds, musical likes, and much more.

This week on CMI Streaming, we’re featuring a couple of pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven in conjunction with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

In this week’s playlist, we feature local composer Frank Felice in honor of his newly released album, THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Frank explores his own brand of “consonant adiatonicism” in THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Throughout the album, Felice sets a variety of texts to music, ranging from the antiphons of 9th century Christian mystic Hildegard of Bingen to the modernist poetry of Wallace Stevens
