This week’s playlist is especially important. We’ll honor the life of  Marianne Williams Tobias who we lost on July 12th. We’ll hear Marianne Tobias as a pianist with The Indianeapolitan Players, and recordings by the ISO with commentary coming straight from Marianne’s program notes.

We’ll hear from their Artistic Director, Andreas Ioannides, and Indianapolis Symphony’s Kevin Lin and Austin Huntington. We’ll hear host, Salvador, talk with these three artists about all to expect at this year’s ChamberFest, their backgrounds, musical likes, and much more.

In this week’s playlist, we feature local composer Frank Felice in honor of his newly released album, THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Frank explores his own brand of “consonant adiatonicism” in THE BEAUTY OF INNUENDOS. Throughout the album, Felice sets a variety of texts to music, ranging from the antiphons of 9th century Christian mystic Hildegard of Bingen to the modernist poetry of Wallace Stevens

In this week’s playlist, we feature performances by the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra with the help of guest curator, Matthew Kraemer. He is the Music Director and Principal conductor with the ICO. We’ll hear Matthew talk with host Salvador all about the ICO’s history and the upcoming season.
