We’re well into winter, and, although the weather has taken a warmer turn here in Indianapolis, we know there is surely more cold weather to come before the arrival of spring. Whether you’re a fan of the cold or can’t wait for spring, this week’s playlist should help get you through another cold week. Featuring works about winter and the cold in general written in the last 100 years. Some playlist highlights are Ralph Vaughan Williams Symphony no. 7 “Sinfonia Antartica,” and three works from violinist Eldbjorg Hemsing’s 2023 album, “Arctic” recorded with the Arctic Philharmonic.
