Local Classical – Gabrielle Cerberville

Local Classical Featured Artist – 11/02/20 – 11/15/20

Part of Classical Music Indy’s Micro Composition Project, this week we’ll be featuring Indianapolis-based American composer, multi-media artist, and pianist, Gabrielle Cerberville. Originally from New York State, Cerberville holds a degree in composition from Butler University. Cerberville writes with an experimental flair that is both familiar and alien, and her works often blend the lines between disciplines and discrete art forms. Her music explores such themes as landscape, disappearance, insecurity, resolve, and image, and her works have been featured across the US and Europe. We’ll feature several of her pieces throughout this week’s programming on Classical Music Indy’s Local Classical channel.
