Community Programs Assistant
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Jennifer Rodriguez is now located in Muncie, Indiana after receiving her B.S. in Music Education from Ball State University, Fall 2017. Outside of working as the Community Programs Assistant for Classical Music Indy, Jennifer runs a private studio and recently worked as Assistant Education Coordinator for the Muncie Symphony Orchestra. Jennifer has a broad range of experience in music education, flute performance, and entrepreneurial work. Notable experience includes working in 2017 as Education Intern for Chicago based not-for-profit, Fifth House Ensemble, and acting as inaugural secretary for the Flute Guild at Ball State University in 2017. Prominent performances include her Summer 2017 performance of Density 21.5 at the Milwaukee Art Museum through the Fresh Inc. Festival.
In addition to Classical Music Indy, Jennifer spends her summers working as Flute Instructor and Program Coordinator for Music for the Sake of Music, a music not-for-profit providing free lessons and music ensembles in the Green Bay, WI area. During the school year, Jennifer holds a variety of positions at Indianapolis-based middle schools and high schools as both flute and woodwind instructor. Year-round, Jennifer enjoys performing flute, making art, singing, drinking coffee, and appreciating cats.
