Qiaorong Wang is a doctoral student who is currently pursuing a DA in music theory with minors in Entrepreneurship studies and Piano Performance at Ball State University. Wang is an active member of the Society for Music Theory and to attend the 2022 AMS/SMT/SEM Joint Annual Conference in New Orleans. As a performer, Wang as a piano accompanist and a ranat ek player in Thai music ensemble. As an educator, she taught Aural Skills MUST 101 for freshmen and taught private piano and music theory lessons for young children during her free time. Wang holds a master’s degree in music theory from Kent State University, and bachelor’s degree in musicology from Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Shenyang, China.
