This year, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, Classical Music Indy is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving. We are joining more than 45,000 organizations in 71 countries to celebrate #GivingTuesday. And it’s through your generosity that #GivingTuesday can be a success by inspiring giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that bring about real change in communities.

Classical Music Indy not only syndicates classical music on local radio, we also work in our community. We provide free afterschool music education with our AfterSchool Indy program. Through our Senior Series, we bring musicians into senior centers and assisted living facilities for live performances that uplift and prevent senior isolation. With pop-up concerts that can be anywhere around town, we strive to beautify Indy through our Random Acts of Music. To learn more about these and our other community programs please go here.

Please consider giving to Classical Music Indy today. Without the generous support of donors like you, our community and radio programming simply would not be possible. To make your donation online please go here, to see how else you can give to Classical Music Indy visit here. Thank you.

Read below to learn how these two genres don’t need to be separated as much as some may think.
